THE BARROCO'S HISTORY
The Maître
The history of our restaurant is indissolubly linked to the name of the famous artist. Every year, Salvador Dali spent his summers in Cadaqués, twice a week, honoring dinner in our mill and enjoying our hospitality.
A pleasant atmosphere and excellent cuisine, sometimes he sent his guests to the restaurant, to join them at the end of the meal, having a drink of Cresta rosa de Perelada and some grapes of the Empordà. In 1978, the "Master created our logo:

Thin, full of the spirit of the Middle East, Lebanese cuisine is rich and varied no less than the historical past and archaeological heritage of the country. It is also perfect for vegan and vegetarian customers
You will be pleasantly surprised when you learn more... Finally... How can I not recall the words of the great French writer Honoré de Balzac, who said on his trip to Lebanon: “Lebanese cuisine - a delight not only for the stomach, but also for the eye.”

An excellente libanese cuisine
In 60-70 years many artists, actors, musicians come to visit the famous artist, Dali, but never guests in his house, even famous people like the Marquis of Villa Verde (daughter of Franco), descendants of the American businessman and founder of the company «RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company», members of the family of Bourbon Alphonsine did not have the honor of being invited to the master’s house. But Salvador Dali certainly invited his guests to our restaurant. Juan Carlos I in person- in the years 1978 & 1979 king of Spain, during several visits to the artist, dined twice at EL BARROCO.
